A training programme on Innovative Bamboo Housing and Construction was organized by Cane and Bamboo Technology centre (CBTC) at Cane and Bamboo Technology Park (CBTP), Burnihat, Assam from 17th April to 16th May, 2013. The training programme was sponsored by North Eastern Council (NEC), Shillong. Total 25 trainees participated in the said training programme.
The trainees were mainly from the state of Assam, Arunachal, Nagaland, Manipur, & Sikkim. Participants were nominated by Respective State Government Departments like Industries, Forest Department, State Bamboo Mission, Bamboo Development Agency and
