This project is unique in its construction as it is the first time a Bamboo frame has been combined with Bamboo mat boards for a structure. The Plinth was already made with concrete bythe Tourism Department when the CBTC was approached to take up the project. The construction was planned with the Bamboo poles combined with Mat board panel for walls. This unique way of making such structure helped in reducing the Cost and the time taken for completion. As a large number of cottages had to be made ready before the impending tourist season, this method of construction helped in maintaining the time line and also gave a unique look to the structure.

The project was initiated by the Tourism Department for tourist lodge in the world famous wild life sanctuary of Kaziranga, Assam.
